This is a Full-time position in Lenexa, KS posted May 1, 2021.

Description: We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to help with multiple Account Management functions.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the sale of new and existing products in a specified region or customer and provides ongoing support to all product distribution channels; Food, Drug, and Mass.Work Environment:Office Setting.

Due to COVID, this job will also have some temporary remote work flexibility.

Requirements: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Contribute to the development and successful launch of our new products* Adhere to all GMP/GLP requirements* Create and implement effective direct sales objectives and lead nationwide sales goals* Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.* Provide sales budget and forecast management.* Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.* Provide supervision through retail field visits, observations, and measurement of results.* Proactively identify changes in retail delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.* Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.* Partner with distributors, brokers, and buyers Corporate and Strategic Accounts in the development and maintaining of key customer relationship management.* Assists resellers with contract negotiations, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.* Category SWOT analysis, IRI trends and develop new methods of attaining re-sellers.* Troubleshoots problems regarding procurement and shipment of products.* Responsible for meeting product profit thresholds by account.* Product-forecasting & coordination with the associated department.* Manage, Plan, and Budget Trade Shows.TRAVEL EXPECTATION:25% TravelQUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATIONRequired:* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fieldEXPERIENCE AND SKILLSMinimum:* 3 years of field sales experience* Proficient in product demand forecasting* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Management Experience* Proficient in spoken and written English* PC Knowledge and skills in Excel with pivot tables, Outlook, Power Point and Word.* Negotiation skills* Retail knowledgePreferred:* Five years of CPG sales experience in retail food, drug and mass* Advance Retail Math* Bi-Lingual* Advanced training in current retail sales techniques* Persuasive sellingCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: Required:* Valid Driver’s LicenseWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSVision: Use vision to read, write, type, operate office equipment.Speaking/Hearing: Give and receive information through speaking and hearing.

Motor Coordination: Requires hands to operate the equipment.Lift/carry: Regularly lift, push, and move 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.Environment: This job operates in a business casual environment.

Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
