Director, Payments Marketing


This is a Full-time position in Olathe, KS posted August 9, 2021.

FLEETCOR is looking for a Director of Payments Marketing for our Lodging Business to develop, implement, execute marketing campaigns and content for our payments team.

The ideal candidate will be able to study industry indicators; identify customers and their current and future needs, build research and content based on those findings as well as monitor our competitors.

This person will work closely with brand marketing team members to establish a clear payments strategy, work closely with internal team members and sales teams to implement plans, measure results, and optimize based on learnings.

Ideal candidates have an innovative approach to marketing with a passion for technology, online media, driving revenue and measuring results.

Key Relationships: This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing for the Lodging Business.

Main Responsibilities: Create an inbound sales and lead generation process to grow the payments sales channel.

Develop and execute content marketing and overall outreach strategies.

Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.

Assist in research as it relates to new strategies and areas of growth in the overall growth plan.

Collaborate with internal teams to create content, landing pages, marketing and sales collateral.

Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.

Partner with brand VP to develop and execute all assets in promotion of key initiatives.

Responsible for customer journey, content and conversion funnel.

Create regular data reports and analytics.

The Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.

5 years of experience in B2B marketing and strategy including content development, campaign development and execution, reporting and research.

Experience in financial industry / banking, preferably credit Ability to develop metrics, analyze data quantitatively and identify opportunities.

Experience in a highly matrixed environment.

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.

Experience in optimizing campaigns and user funnels.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Excellent analytical skills and a desire to measure results and optimize.

Personal Characteristics: Excellent communicator.
