This is a Full-time position in Garden City, KS posted April 20, 2021.

Our infectious disease protocols include but are not limited to:Screening staff members at the beginning and part way through each shiftAll staff members are wearing face masks at all times while inside the communityStaff members have access to PPE including gloves, face masks, face shields, and gowns, if ever neededOur community is utilizing telemedicine as much as possible.

This ensures our residents are getting the care they need with as little risk of exposure as possibleAs always, we are committed to transparency and will make all staff, residents, and families aware of any COVID-19 positive cases at our communitiesTemporary Dietary Manager posotionKey Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Dietary Manager assures meals are prepared according to menus and in accordance with Federal and State regulations.

Plans menus in consultation with dietician taking advantage of foods in season and local availability.

May serve meals when needed, order supplies, keeps records and accounts, creates and maintains employee schedules.

Supervises cooks and dietary aides.

Participates in assessing resident needs and planning for their care.The following is a general list of key job duties and responsibilities in your position.

The list is not to be considered inclusive and you will be required to perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned by an authorized supervisor.Duties and ResponsibilitiesComply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and proceduresReport witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator, Director of Nursing or Unit Manager on DutyTreat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with respect and dignityMaintain the confidentiality of all resident and family informationReport to work on time and as scheduledAssure that meals and snacks are prepared according to the menus; that meals taste good and are presentableAssures all meals are served to residents according to the physician’s ordersAssures all items needed to prepare foods on the menu are available to dietary staff.

Ensures there are adequate foods, supplies and equipment availableAssures that kitchen equipment is clean, in working order and available to dietary staffRequired to implement and maintain a weekly cleaning scheduleAll infection control procedures are maintained in preparation and storage of food and equipmentMaintains and keeps accurate accounting for all budgets assigned and gets approval from Administrator to spend money in excess of the budgetResponsible for dietary department staffParticipates in care plan meetings and complies with goals and approaches set forth in residents’ care planMonitors personal and staff compliance to residents’ rightsResponsible of compliance to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials and fire safetyKey Job/Physical RequirementsThe following is a general list of key job/physical requirements for your position.
