Senior Account Executive

Come join a team where your work makes an impact every day Realpage’s Resident Insurance & Deposit Replacement group specializes in structuring, forming and managing resident insurance and deposit alternative programs for the multifamily and single-family rental spaces.

Our product offering includes renters insurance, master liability and captive insurance, and deposit alternative programs.

We consult our partners on all available solutions to find the best fit for their goals and portfolio.

Our current partners own and/or manage 3M rental units across the country and we insure 1M apartments and homes, providing coverage in excess of $100B The Senior Account Executive (Industry Principal) will be responsible for driving new sales of Resident Insurance & Deposit Replacement solutions, serving as the sales subject matter expert for these products, as well as launching and leading business development and client relationship management efforts.

The Industry Principal will work with sales, product owners and executives and in collaboration with other senior business leaders to drive the product and revenue.

In partnership with SVP/GM of the Resident Insurance & Deposit Replacement Group, create, launch and lead the business development and client relationship management for their respective product suite.

Work to increase market penetration, profitable revenue growth and the development of sustainable competitive advantages with customer accounts through development and implementation of plans for both current and non-current accounts.

Identify, segment and target key client accounts and develop comprehensive retention and growth strategies around each.

Identify potential new accounts and develop targeted strategies to secure the business.

Keep abreast of competitive offerings in the market space, from both traditional and non-traditional competitors.

Develop a strategic consultative process to drive solution selling and analytical decision-making into the Sales and Account Management process.

Sell the Resident Insurance & Deposit Replacement solutions product portfolio to maximize service to the core customer base and the usage of existing (and future) product capabilities.

Integrate new offerings into plans as they become available.

The above duties are not meant to restrict, but rather to define, minimum activities.

These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the company as needed Bachelor’s Degree required Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales and marketing management, project planning/management, corporate/executive leadership, financial decision making and/or business consulting.

Previous Sales experience with Insurance and/or in Multifamily Housing is required.

Goal, metric and results-oriented, with the ability to establish a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and enthusiasm among the teams with which he/she interacts.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; active listening and a collaborative work style.

Demonstrated ability in building a successful customer management/sales organization with an emphasis on solution selling.

Demonstrated ability incorporating analytics into selling/account management.

Ability to combine strategic business and technical direction and translate concepts into actionable implementation plans.

Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products and have the ability to learn all required business systems.

Ability to travel and establish relationships with customers.
