This is a Full-time position in Wichita, KS posted August 20, 2021.

Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONInterpret all Customer Engineering /CATIA Models for pertinent data and dimensioning to make CMM program &/or drawings for inspection media.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION PRE-REQUISITES1.

Must have a working knowledge of aircraft/aerospace blue prints, parts fabrication, machining and assembly manufacturing environment pursuant to applicable processes and procedures.2.

Minimum of five (5) years Aircraft/Aerospace CMM Programming experience.3.

CATIA Training: Minimum training of Part Design, Wire Frame, Solid Modeling and Dynamic Sketcher or equitant a must.

PHYSICAL & VISUAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION * Corrected/uncorrected visual abilities to see/read documents and computers for long periods of time.* Ability to withstand long periods of standing / sitting at one time.* Ability to lift minimum 30 pounds on occasion.GOALS FOR : POSITION1.

Attain complete understanding of the Model Base Definition Models (MBD) for Perfekta’s customers (Boeing, Spirit, Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft & Gulfstream).2.

Attain all applicable levels of programming (PCDMIS) pursuant to Perfekta’s drawing system that would enable one to review customer engineering drawings, specifications and standards for CMM programming definition.3.

Learn how to operate the CMM machine in of a temporary basis to help in case of an emergency or work load requirement.4.

Monitor programming priority schedule daily to ensure hottest orders are worked first.
